Yokit^TM was originally developed by S.C. Johnson, makers of global consumer products. Not being a traditional food company, S.C. Johnson decided in 2003 to donate the intellectual property to the Center for Advanced Technology and Innovation (CATI) in Racine, Wisconsin.

CATI worked with Yokit^TM founders Dilip Kotecha, Harish Kotecha, and Dick Rudin, to enhance the original product formulation.  These improvements and new product innovations provide the foundation for today's Yokit^TM !
